Froggy and the Gripmaster on the surface of the Red Planet! What NASA never achieved, Gripmasterfilms made it possible – Trailrunning on Mars… Risking their lives and their formerly white shoes, those two fearless trailrunners of the Salomon Team have crossed this hostile red desert, and all without oygen supplies.

In eight days across the Alps… 241 teams of two accepted the challenge in September 2008, and started for the fourth edition of this unique stage race, for the first time on the new „eastern route“ from Ruhpolding to Sexten. The Gripmaster grabbed his gripcam and ran along.

Froggy, Trailschnittchen and König Ludwig let the bavarian forests tremble, Paul „Hobgoblin“ Boyce and Jan „Man van Staal“ Schutte blast over Pipetrack and ascend Lion’s Head in Capetown, the Gripmaster runs in sunrise at the Cape of Good Hope and in sunset above the clouds on top of Hochstaufen.

Gripmaster and Trailschnittchen have Bugrip under their feet – today no one was faster on the summit of Hochgern! Or back down, either….

Deep snow at Tegernsee in Bavaria. No Trail visible anymore. But the Flip is unimpressed and delivers an impressive performance.

König Ludwig and Raidflip lose track of each other but never lose the goal out of their sight!! The king fights down all obstacles, the Flip almost gets eliminated but gets back up and at the end, there’s a spectacular escape….
